Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once you grow up.
Digital Art Journey
I haven’t been as active with my digital art. I always have some excuse or the feeling like I’m not good enough etc etc. 2025 has been a good year in terms of coming back into my hobbies. I’m blogging fairly regularly. I’ve signed up for some art courses to learn the basics and maybe get into the habit of sketching small things on the go. I want to be able to make use of traditional and digital art so I’m planning on one doodle/sketch a week. Either on paper or digitally. One shouldn’t be that hard right?
Sketchbook Doodles
Below are a couple of sketches I have in sketchbooks lying around. I always think I’ll first sketch them on paper, then scan them and colour them in digitally. Sometimes they feel just right in black and white (and maybe one accent colour), and these you’ll see here.
