This has been a while in coming. I remember reading the Dark Nights: Metal graphic novel and absolutely loving the artwork. It finally made me want to pick up the sketchbook and doodle some of the characters I found in those pages, one of which was Green Lantern. I started the pencil sketch of this in April but only got down to inking it in last night which says a lot about my ability to finish a task of late. I also seem to have messed up the proportions a bit so apologies for that. I’d lay the blame for this on the lack of practice, but mostly it was me not bothering to erase and start over since I knew, in that case, there was a good chance I wouldn’t come back to it for a long time. Well, here’s my doodle of Hal Jordan’s Green Lantern from Dark Nights: Metal.
